Story line Always with you Video installation, mini DV transferred on DVD, 6 minutes, mute, 2001-2008 Always with you documents how the poster campaigns mounted during the 2000 parliamentary elections in Lebanon invaded the urban scenery of Beirut. Along with photos of politicians, these posters touted slogans such as “Always with you,” “For your eyes,” and “I’m not lonely, you’re with me;” phrases which have sentimental connotations and are unusual for electoral campaigns. Little by little, posters are superimposed on top of posters, blending and merging with one another. The accumulation and saturation of images leads to a form of disappearance.
