History Of The Circle Of Confusion, 2009 Installation camera, computer, software and video projection, 3 x 4 m, 2 min In collaboration with Benjamin Bellamy and Cyril Hadjithomas
  • As an aerial image of Beirut disappears in the installationCircle of Confusion, it reappears in History of the Circle of Confusion. A camera captures the gradual removal of the 3000 fragments of an aerial photograph of Beirut. Generating a record of the hourly changes in the installation, the video shows the work in real time. Projected onto a screen the same size as the installation Circle of Confusion (3 x 4 meters), the video serves as a reverse reenactment that presents a performative process as well as an immediate and evolving archive.
