Photographic print 80 x 120 cm, on aluminium (frame 84 x 124cm), 1997
Equivalences are photographs depicting an architecture turned chaotic and crazy in a bombarded city.
Through their use of the photographic image, the images explore ambiguous details and fragments. Freed from the confines of scale and situating topography, the pictured object is abstracted, challenging our way of looking at images as well as ruins and our memory of their presence in the city.
